What a beautiful story and a happy memory. Everytime you put this quilt around you, you will feel like your grandmother is hugging.

Your grandmother would be very proud of you. Her quilt is gorgeous, how nice of her to make that for you.

That is a beautiful quilt that your grandmother made for you, a wonderful heirloom. She must smile brightly when she sees you gently inspecting and folding it up again.

How unfortunate you didn't get to learn quilting from her before she died. Something like that happens to all of us, we think there is lots of time to learn something from a grandparent, then the time is gone.

warm quilt hugs, sue in CA

Precious treasure indeed. It is so heartening to know that you really know how much love and work went into that quilt and you are carrying the quilting torch for your Grandma. Thank you for sharing your story.
