I am in SUCH a happy mood today, Tuesday is guild day...and I managed to fine enough fat quarters from the group fabrics (These are fabrics that one of our leaders brings from the U.K.) but they are getting very low in choice. Anyway, this quilt was so MEANT to be made...Sitting in the box was the most fantastic colours for the border trim around each block and another of our ladies very kindly let me buy from her stash some black with bright little butterflies n dragonflies on it for the sashings AND then low and behold I root somemore in this ladies stash and there was the perfect fabric for the backing....downside....not big enough BUT I have lots of bright scraps left so I think I will do a scrappy border for the Krazy Kats backing!!!!!

So all in all I have had a Great time today !!! :D :D

I love your crazy crumbs! LOL! I've always wanted to make a crazy quilt. I'd never heard it called a crumb quilt, but it makes sense! I love the colors, too! :D Nice work!

Can you just imagine how beautiful such a quilt will be when it is finished?!?! I can easily see why yoiu would be inspired to stay up until the wee hoiurs of the morning!

Can you imagine a quilt like that done in silks and velvets? Then spend the rest of your life doing the embroidery and fancy stitches!!!

I love the bright colors. I always find myself drawn to them but afraid to use them.
