Default Wickedly Easy Quilt pattern - my ugliest Scrappy E.V.E.R, my One Block Wonder

I started this Wickedly Easy quilt pattern a couple of years ago for my step son, but decided it was too UGLY to give to him lol. So I put it away and didnt want to finish it. Since then I made my sister a One Block Wonder quilt and did not have anything for her boyfriend. Now that they are engaged I thought I better make him one. He is a hunter and my sister and her boyfriend sit outside alot. So I thought this scrappy quilt would be perfect for him to use for hunting or just snuggling outside with my sister. The backing is like a tweed or twill or somehting, not sure what lol but it makes the quilt very heavy. Since it is scrappy and butt ugly LOL he can use it hunting lol, I think he will appreciate it still... :-)

My sister hunts on occasion as well, so I made this One Block Wonder from deer material for her. I hope she likes it. But I hope she doesnt take this on hunting with her lol Sorry the picture of this one is not really good. I did it in the morning without any sun light yet, just used my flash on the camera.

    Anyway, thanks for looking!

lol, I've got an ugly one of those stashed away somewhere too. Mine is yellow and green. I'm dragging all those UFO out, one by one. They'll keep someone warm.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't think this one is ugly. I made one I thought was ugly but the recipient loved it.

Great job! I hope they liked them. Don't you find it hard to finish a project once you decide you don't like it-lol I have a pile of UFO's I have been working on since Oct, I vowed this is the finish I make a dent.
    Thanks for sharing.

Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder. I don't think that quilt is Butt Ugly. It has charm. Great job on both.

I'm still looking for the ugly one you have mentioned.

The first is colourful ... and fun.
The OBW turned out absolutely awesome ... and yes, tell your DS to NOT take it hunting!
It deserves a place of honour in her home.
