One other question - This machine works and is being offered for $90. Is that a reasonable price?

I would not pay that much for that machine. Recently, someone an hour from St. Louis could not sell or give away for postage several vintage machines in good working order. Fortunately found a good place to donate - International Sewing Machine Project.

I picked up this Riccar 15 clone at a thift store for $9. It was frozen and missing the motor and foot control. The tension spring is also damaged. I cannot seem to find any information on it. Its made in brazil. I got it to free up rather easily. Now in search of parts

New Alphasew .9, electronic foot control and tension spring. I also built this base for it. Sews perfect.
