    Thank you again for all of your kind words. One idea I keep coming back to is to use the french braid patterns and make a single braid to cover each of the side lights of the front door. I may still do this.

    Wish I had thought about the French braid pattern, when I made quilts for my French doors. I use a 4-patch and then did a square in a square.
