    Default Wine Carrier

On Friday, I bought a Babylock Evolution Serger, the 8 thread. Finally got to open the box today and play. As I was walking around the fabric shop where I bought my machine, I noticed a kit for a wine carrier. So.....I didn't buy the kit cause it looked easy enough to put together without a pattern. I didn't have any wine fabric and the fabric store is closed on Monday. But I have plenty of summer fabrics. I also wanted a double carrier. Started by serging and finishing with straight stitch machine. It's very easy. Dh cut a Masonite bottom that I slipped in before closing it up. Didn't take long at all. I also quilted the fabric. Going to give it to one of my quilting buddies tomorrow as we have a Model "A" meeting at her home.

There are 2 bottles of wine already in there. I would have loved to fill it with Moscato Sangria. That is my new favorite drink.
