    It takes a few tries to get it right, since you're stitching on the opposite side of the paper than you're sewing on, but once you get the hang of it, it's relatively easy. You can make complicated or detailed patterns easily, with perfect points every time. You're always sewing in a straight line--no curves or inset seams to deal with.

    I call quilts that I make without a plan 'Accidental quilts'! :lol: reason being, I am not sure as to where it is going to end up and how it will look. There is no perfection in handmade items, just close to perfection. Yours is perfection in itself and absolutely fabulous! I love the way you have pieced the quilt where the light area meets the dark blue sky! Beautiful quilt.

    Oh, it's always in front of me! If you don't have one, yet make yourself a simple design wall (cover foamcore board or sheet insulation with inexpensive felt). I just make pieces, stick them on the board, and move them around like a puzzle until it looks about right!
