Kudos to you PP for getting a great deal on the die. I like this and for those of us that don't have an accuquilt the unit is easily made by sewing a square to a rectangle on one side (then you have a bonus HST from the waste piece). I think the block could also work with 8 of your chisel units and sashing creating almost a lug nut look. Really like how your flanged binding frames this and the beadboard quilting in the outer border really compliments.

I have this die also but never used it. Your quilt is beautiful and providing inspiration to me (along with the tumbler quilt from another post).

Great idea to shop ebay for the dies, I've never looked there myself but will from now on.

Terrific quilt. I think dark, lights, civil war, batiks, this die would make them all look nice.

I'm on my 2nd quilt with accuquiltchisel die, and have drawn two more. It is surprisingly versatile!

A note to those who have it. 4 bright chisels cut same direction. 3" HST & 6" HST neutral or dark attached to 3" & 6" sides of each chisel makes four 9" (8-1/2" finished) QST. Put together for a "spinner".

If you like OP quilt and have a focus fabric for the "squares", use the 4-3/4" sq. You will have y seams.

I made the patchwork wheel quilt which has a similar look.
