Default Winter Windows for my nephew

My nephew and his wife wanted a modern quilt that was mostly a grey solid or reads-as-solid with a pattern across the lower third of the quilt in browns. This is what my sister and I came up with. The pattern is Winter Windows from Quilting Modern by Jacquie Gering and Katie Pedersen. We took a little liberty with the placement of the "windows." We asked my LAQ to use a panto called Spilt Paint. We are so happy with the results. It will go on a modern wood bed that was made by my nephew's dad who was an architect and furniture designer.

I usually don't care too much for modern, but your quilt is beautiful!!!

Stunning quilt! I love it. If your nephew and his wife don't want it, I'm just a few miles away in Woodbury, and I would gladly take it!
