I saw your message and this photo the other day and just loved this! Wanted to try and find the magazine when I went to Joann's soon. I went to my quilt group yesterday and one of my lady friends brought a stack of magazines in and set on the table to give away. I about choked when I saw this magazine!! Whooooo.....hoooo is that luck or what?

I'm making an embroidered quilt now that is supposed to be redwork. I think the title of the pattern is "Winter Wonderland," now that I think of it. I always rename my quilts. Anyway . . . it's so beautiful as redwork, but when I bought the pattern the woman in the quilt shop said she'd seen it in blue and that it was even prettier. So that's what I'm doing. Blue is my favorite color anyway.

What a lovely wall hanging. That is one that I will consider when I decide I want to do curves, right now I'm into straight lines. I guess I need to branch out, but not right now. Later, maybe next year as a new skill to conquer.
