    Default wip~~~union jack

Here is a picture of my Union Jack mini quilt. I still need to do my hand stitching.

I am making a Union Jack mini quilt in honor of Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee and
the fact that the Olympics will be held in London later this summer.

I love it. It is so bright and pretty. Saw her on TV today. She never ages in looks does she? 60 years is a long time.

I have always enjoyed her...she is just two years younger than my mother(who died in 2010). I am amazed at the Queen's life and all she has seen and been a part of....very interesting, indeed.

The Queen would be so honored to have such a divine block done for her jubilee. I love the prints you used in the block. Wonderful work.

Another great mini! They just keep coming and coming. I think the Union Jack is a great idea as a jubilee tribute. Thanks again for sharing all your wonderful creations.

I love those fabrics, too... so cheerful! It's a great tribute to a great lady (IMHO)!
