Hi there Susan, wonderful beauties you are working on. Can you guesstimate how many different creams you are using within your blocks?...

Hi Cindy, Thank you!! I don't have a lot of creams compared with the florals so I may have to get more. I probably have 10 at the most. I don't think the creams matter as much as the florals though, do you?? The variation on the florals gives it the punch I think.

I absolutely LOVE the floral log cabin. I was so inspired when I saw Debbie McDaniels that I had to get the fabric immediately. I got the fabric but I am hording it until we return North in May (I take it out and look at it every couple days) - when my winter snowbirding is over and I go home missing my active life in FL. It will give me a great project to work on and gives me reason to be excited to go North.

I am going to do mine with just one dark floral fabric and one light floral fabric - anxious to see how it turns out. I've heard a lot of people say they have seen them with just 2 different fabrics. I wish someone would post a picture of one.

Pat P.S. I've saved pictures of Debbie's and look at those pictures quite often - such inspiration.

I love the color/fabric combination. You have inspired me to "think beyond the block". I am a very traditional thinking quilter and this has a very interesting twist. Thank you.
