I started this quilt in 2000. I believe it was my second quilt. My pkan was to make a king sized quilt for my son. Since I did not yet have any quilting feet, and since I was already experienced in hand applique and embroidery, I was sure I could use the same metthods I'd used on lots of embroidery projects.

WRONG! When I began the quilting by applique, I did not use a hoop and almost no pins. The back looks as bad as you might think. I set it aside in 2001. There were other panels that I put into other projects. When I decided I had to finish it or get rid of it, I did the a bit of embroidery then binding, so I can wash it.

I LOVE your quilt. Of course, I love anything with hearts! If you need a bed to put it on, I have one. LOL

    Thanks.

This one is for me, as I don't have a lap quilt at the moment.

    I like it very much.
I know about those plans that start out being king size - after a few blocks, it's lucky it makes it to a wall hanging.
