    OOOOOOOHHH! I Love it! Dresden plate is often so "old" looking that I have never really had any desire to do one. Now I might have to rethink that! Thanks for the inspiration!

    Thank you! Thank you! For all the wonderful comments. Will keep you posted on my progress. Planning on going shopping on Saturday for the background and center fabric. And now I just thought to my self, "What about the borders, backing, and binding?"

    So THATS what you do with the striped fabric!! I've seen it before, and love batik, but hadn't a clue how to use it, so I never bought any. Thank you for sharing your beautiful idea. I generally don't like that pattern, as it is too traditional for my taste, but I could easily see myself making it! Love your idea and your colors. Thanks so much for sharing!
