Default WIP needs a pop of color. PART 2

For those of you who helped me out...I think I have attached some pics..keep fingers crossed. Anyway, I tried the green (not so pleased), so after all those other color tryouts and changing my mind about just one other color, I think I will go with green, orange, hot pink, and maybe yellow. The last color on the left is a hot pink batik (not sure). What do you think now?

This is where some photos sooner, rather than later, would have helped everyone visualize better as to what you were working with.

Personally, I think I would have gone with more of a shabby chic look, and kept to the browns with the softer pinks and whites. Skipped the green and for more punch just added a darker shade of your existing pinks along with a good bright white, perhaps with some pink in it. The cherry batik and other fabrics shown, just look to be the wrong colour to go with all.

    Of course, JIMHO!

Oh oh I would totally do hot pink OR an intense olive green...but that is still pretty AWESOME!

ditto!! Pop comes from more than brilliant, fluorescent, neon colours!!
And this quilt could really pop and wow ... in a nice calming shabby chique way!

I agree I do not like the bright colors. Shabby chic is better. Those bright colors will take over the quilt

Luv the shabby chic colors and would stay with them. The green takes away from this quilt. IMHO.
