    I am a big fan of blues too - what you have so far is really pretty. I envy that you have time for hand-piecing. I have neither the time nor the patience and let's not even discuss my skill level! LOL! I will look forward to seeing the finished top - it will be gorgeous!

    It's very pretty. I had to concentrate to see the stars. To me tumbling blocks jumped out. I love how it can be either one.

    The placement of these blocks give it more of a 3D effect. when I look at it, I see the tumbling blocks pattern instead of the stars. You have created a wonderful optical ollusion with this. I love it. You are doing a super job. I too, hand piece and can appreciate the time and effort put into it. Keep going. I'd love to see the finished product.
