    Extending the white really gives it a finished look...I can hardly wait to see the finished project.

    Thank you so much for your reply.

    It is beautiful and you will work the borders out.

    I am a long arm quilter and I would do a little meandering and stitch around each penwheel.

    I cut out all the 5 1/2 strips today for cutting triangle and a friend is going to make me a pattern. She also believes she has the magazine from July/Aug 2010.

    On that border thing . . . tell anybody who has the nerve to comment, that it was a design decicion. A very neat one! Your quilt is lovely.
