I'm kind of between large projects, have several planned and not sure what I want to start next, so I've done a couple of simple ones while I think about it.
This is from the book Layer Cake, Jelly Roll and Charm Quilts (I believe that is the name) and it's one layer cake and one jelly roll. It's pretty much random besides light and dark values. I used the 4 very dark JR strips for the sashing blocks to give it some cohesion.
I have about a 5" strip of each jelly roll left over and 1 yard of two of the fabrics and 3 yards of another. Not sure if I will just do a stacked border, use the JR strips, or what. I still have one whole JR of this fabric to do something with so I might want to save the other fabric to add to it. Decisions, decisions.

I love this fabric too, it's Fig & Plum. I really like the blue, it's like a Tiffany blue, and it is just gorgeous. I think it would be fabulous on it's own with one of the whites.
My middle sister likes the peach/pink/blue/green type of color schemes so this one might be for her.
