    Beautiful and bright quilt. Think I am going to have to try this one. Looks pretty easy. Do you make all of your squares the same size and just turn them when you sew them all together? Thanks for sharing.

    This is as easy as pie. You can change the proportions for a different look, but essentially, you have one block of color in the middle (can be made of two blocks or whatever you want) and then two strips along the sides. These can all be any width you want, as long as the finished block is SQUARE. And then you turn every other block.

    In this quilt, the finished blocks are 10", so the center section is cut 6 1/2 X10 1/2" and the sides 2 1/2 X 10 1/2. I have made this with narrower side strips, and with two blocks in the center. Smaller for baby quilts.

    The possibilities are endless and it is a really easy beginner pattern.
