I just LOVE the Scrappy quilt! I think the Pacific NW ocean would just invite me to stare out at it all day. But it sure inspired you to be industrious! Beautiful!

Beautiful quilts. Nothing like the ocean to give us inspiration.

Hi Quilter 7x: One of the threads has a picture of the beach ...I screwed up when I put the pictures on the thread and changed the name of the thread slightly so the pictures got separated. Here's the beach! Enjoy!

The 4 patches are made with 2 fabric pieces 3 1/2 inches each by Width of fabric sewed together the long way then cut into
3 1/2 inch pieces then sew 2 of these pieces together to make the 4 patch. You'll have 15 of these units that measure 6 1/2 inches when sewn. Then add a 6 1/2 inch focus fabric block between each of the 4 patch blocks.

The beach pictures are awesome. I'm not sure I could get any sewing done with that beach outside my room. :) Thank you for posting them here.

Again your quilts are beautiful. I can see how the child's quilt is made after reading your explanation.

OH! Good, glad you could figure out my directions for the blocks. The little quilts go together so fast and easy. Great pattern for any charity quilts you need that don't take a lot of time but look and feel great when finished. I think I might use this pattern to make some red, white and blue quilts for the Veteran's Home.

Also glad you liked the beach pictures.
