Wizard of Oz quilts
My sister-in-law has been visiting with me for a week and we have been making Wizard of Oz quilts for her g-grandchildren, Phippil and Tori. Thought I would share what we have done so far.
First is Tori's quilt. We only have to put a final border on Lavendar on it and quilt it.

This is one block where I appliqued her name.

[QUOTE=breezyquilts;5656481]the monkeys scared me terribly as a child and now I have to laugh about it!!
The Wicked Witch of the West with her green face scared the daylights out of me. My mom had to take me home I was crying so hard. I never saw the whole movie until I was an adult.

Love the quilts. I love all the lines of The Wizard of Oz fabrics. I made a stack n whack of the first line that came out and named it "Dorothy Got Whacked". I've bought a couple of the other lines, but haven't done anything with them yet. You've inspired me to do something with them now--of course that will be after I get all the Christmas gifts done.
