    Great idea, I have a bunch of red and blue, I think I will find something white and make something for the 4th of July in a jar. Thanks for a neat idea. Any ideas on what I could use for the white.

    Have you seen the pin cushion that uses spools of thread? I bet these would make a cute one. I love the jar idea.

    I have a small box of them. They are about 3/4 in tall & the size of my index finger. Belonged to great aunt & she has been dead at least 42 years.

    Aren't they adorable spools? I just picked up about 10 spools like yours at a garage sale. I would love to have as many as you do. Enjoy them.
