    I am posting pictures of this quilt top that I had the honor of doing for MEH. Her mother was the one that made the wool quilt top. I thought she might like having this posted since she can't post pictures. Hopefully she can add more information about the quilt top.

    oooo waaarrrrrmmmm..... yummy..... the nights are just now getting a bit chilly and I so want a warm quilt to snuggle under....

    How pretty is that. And of course, the quilting looks so good.
    My Mom used to make wool comforters from old woolen clothes. Since we didn't have anything but wood stoves for heat our bedrooms would be mighty chilly in those Oklahoma winter nights. Those heavy wool quilts sure felt good. She always tied hers. Things are much different now days.

    That's a very nice quilt, how amazing that a 96 yr old made the quilt. Also very sweet of you to share. Please tell this wonderful quilter how much we all have enjoyed being able to see the quilt.

    Cozy and warm... wow and a 96 yr old made it... wow.. Great job.. and how wonderful she can still continue to quilt. I hope I can quilt if I make it to her age.... :)
