I had this block prepped with red hearts but the more I saw it the less I liked it so I pulled out the freezer paper and redid the block with purple and pink hearts.
It looks much better.
I would say its my favorite so far

those look great!! i may try those colors sometime if i can find them in cotton. i love the look of wool, but........ i am extremely allergic, just brushing against it will break me out in hives. so i can't have the really pretty sweaters

My Husband is allergic to a great and many things.
Allot of people I have run into are using fusible webbing with regular cotton fabric.
Also you could try
Woolies Flannel by Bonnie Sullivan for Maywood Studio
Looks like wool, feels like wool, yet sews and washes like cotton with no scratchy wool itch.
Fabric is 100% cotton flannel this line will give you the patterns of wool fabrics ,checks,herringbones, etc...
