Where do you get your wool pieces. We only have two Quilt Shops in 30 miles. I have never found wool fabric except in pkg of 3x4in. and not attractive at all. Tinker

For this project most of the wool I am using came from thrift store finds and was washed and felted.
It is hard to find wool almost anywhere it seems.

I have seen wool at some quilts shows and on etsy.

    Block 10

This block is normally done with reverse Appliqué,
However with Wool I cut a 1/4″ wide bias strip and appliquéd that down.

Your work is exquisite....brilliant use of colour and the texture of the wool and the embroidery bring these blocks to life. Love them and the eco friendly concept of re-using found clothing. Bravo!
