    OK.. you may remember I fell in love with a quilt in a picture posted by gailmitchell here http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-38446-1.htm

    Well, I'm trying to copy it.. here is what I have so far. I'm only making it 9 squares as they are 18" each. Plus the fact I'm using fabric from the stash. But then I'm thinking about putting another row of the dk brown and cream strips around the whole thing.. what do you think?

    I think borders would be great tho this quilt is great as it is.

    I was thinking of using the 3 strips white brown white around the whole thing and put the 9 patches in each corner. Or some variation of that.

    Tippy, I agree with your idea for the added dr brn & crm. I really like the colors, even if it is stash...best kind of quilts. Great job.

    I think it is pretty as is, but the borders would be a nice touch.

    I like your idea for the borders, but it sure is nice as is to. You might think about putting your sashing fabric on your edges first and then it will give your border more definition

    I agree with Mamabear, finish the sashing then cream and brown border will be the perfect final touch.
