    That was my Mother's name Sarah, she passed away on Dec. 26th 2010. That struck me! I love the way that looks, nice job! :thumbup:

    Beautiful! Cannot wait to see it all done. What technique of Applique are you doing on this? This sure is gorgeous!

    I am going to layer it before appliqueing it. The famous zigzag stitching pulled closely together to give it the "satin" look or applique look. Worked very nicely on my previous table runner and I had a blast doing it. Tonight or tomorrow I am going to layer it and of course adhessive spray it together. Love that stuff. Hoping to get it on the wall soon if life doesn't get in the way.

    I am already thinking of backing a previous log cabin top after this project, but since I don't have enough fabric for the back I tought I would log cabin the back in the larger version. I will post pics of that too. It would definately use up my scraps and would compliment the front.
