    Thanks Shemjo. Havenīt hand dyed myself so have asked this lady to give us some tips. Busy making a rather nice handbag at the moment

    Wow! I love the gold stitching on the appliques it makes the design pop off the square.     Hi Andie, that gold stitching is particularly nice on that piece. My Avatar landscape is of a village called Competa which is about 5 Km up the mountain from where I am. In fact we used to be under a pergola when we first started some 3 yrs ago but now there are too many of us (which is nice) so we have the use of the hall underneath the local Post Office. We have grown to 30 members give or take as some are only here for half the year. Sorry to crash you lovely dream though
