Don't have a clue about cats and quilts! LOL Our cats live out in the barn and won't come near the house. And our little dog loves them, wants them to play, his nose has taken quite a few swipes!

But he loves my quilts, if it is on the floor for whatever reason he is on top of it and has quite a "tude" when I politely ask him to move. One day I drug the quilt from the living room floor all the way to the sewing room. He did roll over and stretch but he didn't move!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH says the dog thinks he is a paperweight. LOL

A kitty at peace. I am waiting for one eye to open to see if you are watching. Then just the slightest of little grin. Life is good when your a cat or a quilter.

They think they own every thing & every one in the house. I know mine does, but I love her anyway.

What is it about animals and quilts/fabric ? My DD's cats use to do this to me and my dog use to do the same thing whenever I was working on one either by hand or let it hang off the table.

I'm always amazed at how fast they can get into a spot and be asleep in seconds, looking like they've been there forever. I'll get up to pour a cup of tea and there's always someone looking like they're dead asleep in my chair by the time I get back.
