Hello Friends..... Yesterday my hubby and I went to West Palm Beach to the World Quilt Show show cased in Florida. It was really an awesome show and I didn't know if my knees were going to let me walk the whole thing and see it all but I made it. I took alot of photos and have resized a few to share with you. I will try and send in more later. I wish i had taken my better camera but it is a larger camera and didn't want to lug it around. Next time will take it as I am not completely happy with the photos this little camera took. I took alot of close up shots as well but they didn't turn out well at all. Next time I will know to take the better camera. Hope you enjoy the photos...

This was the most awesome quilt and really huge!! The detail is stunning.

Was much prettier to see the real thing, It has alot of embellishments....crystals and pretty threads...metallic etc.

Just had to take several detailed photos of this one as I know some of the ladies on this board love chicken quilts!!

Had egss in the borders too!! Sooo cute and alot of people standing around admiring it.

Each and every piece is appliqued on this quilt!! The photo does not do it justice at all!

The appliqued detail in this quilt was amazing!! Can't remember but was from another country.

Wow those quilts are awesome. Just imagine the hours of work that must go into some of those masterpieces.

I would love to make that first quilt! If someone could just draw it all out for me, I could really do that! The problem is being on a black background. Absolutely beauiful. It doesn't look like the quilt has a binding, or does it have a black border, do you remember?

Yes, it had a binding. Was black. Sorry my camera was not the best. I thought it used to take better photos than this.

Nothing wrong with your camera, it was the dark background that didn't enable me to see, and I don't have the best eye sight! Thank you for posting the pictures, loved seeing them.

I so wanted to go to that show and visit with my daughters, but total knee replacement surgery 2.5 weeks ago nixed my going.

Looks like it was a good show.
