    Yep, I have lots of those HSTs, though mine are 1-1/2" and will finish at 1". I am now working on a top using 780 of them.

    Great idea to save the leftover pieces, Bonnie K. Hunter at Quiltville.com makes great scrappy quilts from small pieces like that.

    I am currently working on a scrappy, quilt as you go quilt using scraps from other projects. I never throw away any fabric that is big enough to put a stitch into! Lol. Will post a picture later.

    OMG I do the same thing. I make the HST while their still attached. I've got a bunch of HST that will finish @ 1 1/8"; I'm planning a miniature quilt. Great start on your quilt.
