    That is stunning! I would stitch in the ditch in the sprials, how about keeping is simple in the border and just do a straight line not quite half way down on the border. Do you have a double needle? That would be great, to just do one line of stitching that is double.

    I want to Thank everyone for all their comments and suggestions and I want to update you all, that I took your suggestion and SID except in the very center block and I did straight lines 1/4" apart around the black outside border.
    I love it, all I have to do is handstitch the label on the back and mail it to my brother. I tried to take a picture, but none of the stitching shows, sorry.
