    It wouldn't have to be exactly the same thing. Even a dark green with the dots would look good. But I would bind it woth whatever I chose for that last border.

    I would use a narrow strip of the green, then the final border in the black polka dot.

    That is an awesome quilt. I love your little houses. So cute. And the saying on the bottom is great. And so true. Wonderful job.

    I think a dark color--one of the Browns, Blacks would be good--use a figure or tone-on-tone. I learned at a workshop our guild had that the last border needs to be anything but White. I learned that our eye keeps looking for "more," and the dark color will tell the eye that it is done looking.
    It has worked for me!
    I love your quilt; esp. the houses on the border. You will like it even more once it is done.

    I hadn't thought of the polka dots some of the girls suggested. Great idea!
    I just never got used to using polka-dots in anything, but would look good there!!
