Here is my first attempt at an Octagon, and without a special ruler, I just winged it. Yes, I was too lazy to spend hours on Google tonight. So, I just grabbed my bootstraps and went for it. But, I drove myself batty just trying to figure out the angles and figured them out by looking at my rotary mat (a blessing!). Thanks for looking and any tips or pointers would be welcome. Oh yeah, and the back looks neat as well, no bulk. (All this cuz I want to make a table topper with different wedges.)

Looks very good. BTW, if you are using a ruller with a 45* angle, that's the right one for this block.
