I put one up as I was working on the Hexagon Star as I couldn't keep myself straight part of the time. When you can put the blocks up, stand back and decide placement, etc., it just makes it so much easier. I used insulation board as the base and now I wouldn't be without one. Best investment ever, in my opinion to help newbies along the way. No more leaning over the bed or crawling around on the floor! My body parts didn't like that.

Quilt blocks stick surprisingly well to a flannel backed plastic tablecloth. When I put up rows of blocks, I put a couple of pins in the top to help keep them stuck to the tablecloth. Love you blocks especially your Buzz Saw. There is just something about blue and white that I love.

I made one from a flannel-backed vinyl tablecloth, too. Folded it over about 1-1/2" from the top, put 5 large grommets in it, placed Command hooks on the wall at the same intervals and hung it up. It holds my blocks up well and can be removed, if necessary, without marking up the wall.
