Don't be so hard on yourself. Many times I will look at a finished quilt and say, "I wish I had done this or that instead of doing that or this. It turned out fine.

you should be proud. It is a great quilt and you did it! I bet anything that your lady group of quilting was better than the first group. Practice makes perfect😊

I like the fact you see the quilting in the sashing and not so much in the main fabric. It lets your fabric speak. Keep on quilting.

In my humble opinion...I think it looks GREAT! The thread color appears to be part of the background fabric. Had you used yellow it may have spoiled the Laurel Birch blocks. Nice!

I'm sorry you dislike the quilting. I think the way you quilted it really brings out the cats. It's very cute. Can you put it away for a time (several weeks) then look at it. That sometimes works for me when I don't like a quilt. Literally stepping back from it.

Like someone else mentioned...put it away for a while and then look at it again later. You'll be surprised how much you like it then!

Looks great--whimsical, fun. Is it a gift or for yourself?

I see a beautiful, colorful quilt that I would love to snuggle under! Your choices in quilt design and thread look fine to me!
