    Default Is it wrong?

To want to keep something that was meant to be given away. I made myself a goal to use all my rulers at least once (yes, I know it's an obsession with gadgets that got me into this). Anyhow this was the 60 degree ruler and it was supposed to be for the newest nephew, but.....

wow! Do I like that. I agree with Quilty-Louise. Make another one and keep whichever you prefer.
My sister will often admire something in my home only to be told 'well, I bought that for you for Christmas last year, but when I got it home...'. Must run in the family as she does the same to me.

Keep it for yourself and make another for your nephew. If you say you will make yourself one later, you probably won't

Happens all the time. , if you love it, want to keep it do so. Then make a different quilt for the nephew. He will never know. I have one neice who waited ( unknowingly) for 5 quilts before receiving hers. She loves, loves, loves the one that finally became hers.

I can see why you would want to keep it for yourself. It is very nice with great colors. I think some of my ufo's are still waiting to be finished for that exact reason. I don't really want to give them up. Terrible isn't it?

I know a retired quilt teacher that must have fifty completed quilts. I kid you not!

It's a beautiful quilt and it is speaking to you! Keep it and enjoy. Your newest nephew will enjoy another quilt you make him just as much
