    Your welcome, marvellove! Yes, have those GC do some drawings for you on some fabric and sew those blocks together for a one-of-a-kind lovable quilt!! You could even use crayons! I doubt they would wash out because of the wax in them. Most of all, they would really love seeing their work displayed in a quilt that could be used for a show-and-tell! Let us see pics when you post them! PM us so we don't miss it! You know Batik fabrics are made with a base of wax -- so I think the crayons would work great and they may even have a special crayon out now specifically for quilt drawings.

    n2 you've got to quit sneaking into Iowa and stealing from my stash--I recognize more than a couple of fabrics LOL.

    Ok, G, I can't believe you have any of THESE fabrics!! They are old, old and I even put a "house" block in one!! haha. It was from a Christmas print. Everyone can believe I included a "house" block! If you have some of these fabrics, your stash is OLD, OLD too!!! haha.
