picked this up today (in fact two of them) at a thrift shop - cheap. I have not worked much with panels so have a question: I figured the large portion is for a wall hanging? But what are the other 3 smaller panels for? Maybe just for whatever you want? like potholders etc.? any input from all the "panel expert" truly appreciated. Still so much to learn but this board has helped so much. Thanks to all!

    full piece (about 25 x 24")

    small panels (24 x 8")

    larger panel (8 x 10")

I would say you can make pillows from the smaller blocks...But potholders would be good too...They are really too cute !!!

Could you put borders on the candy rectangle and make a table runner? The two smaller ones are probably designed as labels. The candy rectangle could also make a small pillow (Again I'd probably add some borders!)...They are all really cute...

Another idea would be to use the little labels as pockets for a Christmas apron...

    Potholders are also good idea.

It might be a table runner and two place mats, depending on the size.

what a wonderful "find".. I just love the elves :) I'm not sure what the other panels are for ~ could make a great table centerpiece to hold a hot casserole, candles, flowers, etc :)

you could cut them apart and design a quilt using all the pieces and adding some blocks for a lap quilt.
