I love old sewing machines, I wish I had the space to display all of mine but then it would take up my stash space, your stash looks great, I'd love to rummage through it!!!

Wow an old Necchi. My mom used to have one. That is what I learned to sew on when I was growing up. So many times I wish I had that machine. How do you like your Brother sewing machine?

I learned to sew on a Necchi! It had cams and a bunch of different stitches on it. I made many many things on that machine...brings back memories. My mom finally retired it a few years ago. love your stash!!

I have used a number of machines in my time. My mother traded in a Singer years ago (approx 42 years) when a salesman came to the door selling sewing machines. What she got was a Brother and to this day it is still in action!!

I bought an older Necchi (almost 50 yrs old) and it works just fine. I had already purchased a newer model of the Necchi and I love it. I have had a Dressmaker, Singer, White, Brother, and of course, my very first one of my own was a Signature. That one is still in operation also. But my very favorite one to sew quilts on is my Featherweight 221. I had two of them and gave one to my daughter. That is the one she uses most now herself.

I am sure there are alot nicer machines out there. But I am totally satisfied with the ones that I have now. And mine get alot of use.

Love the Necchi - I came across a Miranda one day, and had to have it! It's in line to go to the tech for a thorough checking out and re-wiring. I'm becoming a firm believer in older machines more and more :-)
