    Just makes you wonder how long she had to save up feed sacks to make this! Glad you rescued it from the clueless granddaughter! Grandma would be happy that you got it and we are all drooling over it!

    yep hand appliqued. lovely quilt. if you wash it, just soak it and spin out a couple of times. don't agitate it.

    That is a beautiful quilt and it's hard to imagine anyone giving up such a treasure for any amount of money, let alone $5. I'm glad it has a home now where it will be honored.

    I measured it. The blocks are 10 inch. The size of the quilt is 48 by 58. I took pictures of all the blocks and was hoping to post some addition pics of the closeups, but that option is not available.
