    Actually at first that is what I was thinking, but another gal on the board found the pattern. It is a 1930's pattern called the "Daisy" block.

    Pictures don't even do the quilt justice.

    That's too bad the GD did'nt save some of her stuff. The quilt is beautiful and I think it's hand stitched. Glad you got it. I don't know how someone could sell all the family heirlooms. That's terrible
