    That's an amazing find for $5. It is hand stitched. Looks like feed sack fabrics also.

    Great find! WOW! BTW, look at my avatar! That is also a vintage feedsack quilt. The owner had me machine quilt it for her. It was her great grandmother's and she died in 1947.

    Oh wow!! The grand daughter said that the mother used to embroider and it was the grandmother that quilted. I also snatched up some hand towels and things that looked pretty vintage.

    Personally, I couldn't let go of any of my grandmas things.

    Yes it is hand appliqued and looks hand quilted too. Pretty.
