........Well, it was finished this last Monday then washed and put onto my bed! It is huge. I hand did embroidery around all the elements(center and corners) in a running stitch and then did french knots on the rays. What was I thinking! It took me about 9 months to get it all done, but I think it turned out great. ......
Beautiful quilt! I think the person who did the blocks would be happy.

Boy, oh boy, did you find a treasure!!! Do believe it's from Herrschner's. My Mom has done 2 theme blocks-16 blocks ea. (someday I'll put them all together?). She doesn't like cross stitch but the embroidery ones….
