    Oh my, I am so humbled. And here I thought I knew how to appliqué and quilt. After seeing this, I am no more than a wannabe. I've never seen anything so beautiful. That quilt is artistry to the upmost degree. Congratulations to both of you. WOW!!!!

    Two layers of batting -- which one is next to the reverse side of the quilt? Thank you for the feedback on the thread, too. Excellent work by the two of you! I have that same bed.... why isn't this quilt on it? Boy do I have some practicing to do if I ever want a similar quilt on my bed, lol.

    I just can't stop looking at this quilt! It is breathtakingly beautiful! Such incredible detailing, piecing and overall quilting, it's a show-stopper!
