I just have to show you the latest accessory for it. For those of you with Viking machines and maybe some others too, you will understand. Mine all have the auto presser foot, so I forget to drop it. Couldn't figure out why I wasn't having success, and then remembered to drop the presser foot.

I'm glad your baby got all put together and you are having fun with it.
Don't let it stress you out. It takes time to learn I've heard!

I got a Grace Pinnacle frame in February and didn't have any trouble putting it together. If I ever get my room cleaned up, I'll post a picture. It did have a broken part that was replaced and the first stitch regulator didn't work. Because of costs I went with a Juki mid-arm machine. The Pinnacle frame will take a machine with an 18" arm. Maybe some day ...

Meandering is about all I can do yet. It is lots of fun.

Well, I decided I needed something to follow, not just a printed piece of fabric, so I found some old pieces of fabric for pillows that looks like patchwork and I am just trying to stitch in the ditch, so to speak. Not being very successful. This is going to be a lot bigger learning curve than I had anticipated. :?

I found that I can't stitch in the ditch with mine. I'm ripping that out on a couple of blocks. I had good luck following a leaf pattern because it didn't have to be exactly on a line. I've also outlined some designs, but I wish I hadn't tried navy blue. It's too hard to see navy on navy with my old eyes! The templates I got are fun, but the quilt has to be just about thread-perfect even on the frame to use them. I've ordered a couple of books since there is no where close enough for me to get lessons.
