I love this pattern, it has a special place in my heart since it was the first quilt I ever finished. I love seeing it done with batiks!! great job. :) Sad for your friend, but I am sure she will love the quilt.

I love seeing what can be done with batiks! I love them, but have not actually done any quilting yet with them. (I'm afraid I will mess them up!

I hope this comforts your friend. After 20 years that must have been a very painful time.

I want to make that pattern. And I love batiks! Thanks for the inspiration. Lovely quilt. I'm sorry your friend lost her job. I know your quilt will comfort her! I will pray for her and so many others affected by these "budget cuts". The Lord knows and hears our prayers.
