    Default Yellow DWR

This quilt was brought to me by my DH's Aunt who is 93 years old and still sewing. She just wanted me to quilt it enough to hold it together. It was a little difficult for me since I'm just beginning to get a little practice on the free motion side of my machine. She can't see as well as she used to could and there were a few booboos that needed to be fixed along the way. Still I thought it turned out pretty good with no more on it than she wanted. What do you think?

What a pretty quilt! Your quilting looks wonderful in the circles. I hope I'm still able to quilt in my 90's!

I love the DWR and hope to make one some day. Your DH's Aunt did a very nice job on hers and at 93 too. Good for her. I think the minimal quilting really suits it, too much quilting ruins the original look of the quilt.
    Thank you for sharing.

I like it with the simple quilting.

Your quilting is a lovely compliment to the piecing.

This looks like the quilt my grandmother made for me. She handquilted it minimally, too. Beautiful!
