Default Yellow is my favorite color

but I never had used a lot of it in my quilts. Guess I can't say that any more. I think now I should have quilted a tighter grid in the alternate blocks, but that's the benefit of hindsight.

Repeat use of this pattern: Stars quilt for grandson

Made entirely from stash. Quilted with Glide on my Tiara.

So pretty! I used to not like yellow and didn't use it much in my quilts. Then one day I made a quilt and used less yellow than they pattern called for. When I got it done and saw how much the yellow brightened up the quilt, I wished I'd used more. Now I use a fair amount of yellow.

Beautiful! Awesome that you had all that fabric in your stash. I think yellow really works with 30's fabrics as well. Kind of has a vintage feel. Nice work :-)

What a beautiful serene quilt, I think the quilting allows the beauty of the piecing to shine.

I think you did a beautiful job with the quilting. I like yellow too, so cheery.

You'll be ready for springtime and Easter with this quilt. Yellow is a great color to add interest in quilts, as it grabs your attention. Great job on the design and the quilting.
