Default Yes, believe it or not a Leather Quilt

I made this quilt with the help of a young lady I work with once in a while. She does amazing work with leather from purses to wallets etc....A client asked if she would make a "Blanket" for him using old leather coats. Not knowing what she was getting herself into she said yes. So she asked me for help and this is what we came up with...my design...The photos don t do it justice, it is just amazing....But , there won t be another one...he`s one lucky client!!!

That coat may have a serious history with that guy. After all, he paid to have this made. It surly has a manly look, even if it is just decoratively folded at the bottom of his bed. I praise you for re-purposing an item that may have hit the trash can. Nice save.

Did you use leather as the backing too? Interesting...
